Kyte.tv to end free service

  • I’m a big fan of mobile video production and have been experimenting and using apps ever since I got my iPhone 3Gs a couple of years ago. There are plenty of options out there as far as apps go, but one of my favorite sites is Kyte.tv.

I have more than 350 videos archived on the site and enjoy using the service. The app is easy to use, and videos upload to the web quickly.

Unfortunately, Kyte.tv is ending it’s free service, and everything is going bye-bye.

As of Tuesday, August 30, 2011, Kyte will no longer maintain the free service. If you receive this email and have a professional, paid account with Kyte, this will not affect your paid service (please contact your Kyte support representative if you have any questions).

After launching in 2007 with mobile “life streaming” media sharing apps for consumers and participating in the explosion of online and mobile video, it has been a good run. Now that we are totally focused on our professional offering, we can no longer maintain the free service.

    Money talks.
